Event: RANKATHON 2025 – India’s Biggest Scholarship & Talent Hunt Exam

Organiser: BrainBucks (Hereinafter referred to as "the Organiser")

1. Introduction & Acceptance

1.1. These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the participation in the BrainBucks Rankathon 2025 (“the Event”), an All-India Scholarship & Talent Hunt Exam.
1.2. By registering for and participating in the Event, you (“the Participant”) agree to have read, understood, and be unconditionally bound by these T&Cs.
1.3. The Organiser reserves the right to amend, modify, or cancel any part of these T&Cs at any time without prior notice. Any such changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on the official BrainBucks website.

2. Eligibility

• Participants must be citizens of India.
• The age of the Participant must be between 17 and 35 years as of the date of the exam (December 14, 2025).
• Participants should be in Class 12th, graduates, or preparing for competitive exams (UPSC, SSC, Railways, Banking, Teaching, State PSCs, Defence, etc.).
• Employees of BrainBucks, its affiliates, and their immediate family members are not eligible for awards.

3. Registration

• Registration must be completed through the official BrainBucks website or mobile application.
• Participants must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Misrepresentation will lead to disqualification.
• A nominal, non-refundable registration fee may be applicable.
• Limited slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

4. Event Format & Rules

4.1. Mode: The Event will be conducted exclusively online.
4.2. Date & Time: December 14, 2025 (time slot shared via email/SMS).
4.3. Structure: 200 multiple-choice questions curated by expert educators.
4.4. Marking Scheme: No negative marking for incorrect answers.
4.5. Language: English and Hindi.
4.6. Proctoring: Fair online proctoring via TAPTEC AI. Camera and microphone permissions are mandatory.

5. Code of Conduct & Fair Play

The Participant must take the exam with integrity. Prohibited activities include:

• Impersonation or proxy test-taking.
• Using external resources (books, search engines, etc.).
• Seeking assistance from others during the exam.
• Manipulating the exam/proctoring system through software or devices.

Violations flagged by TAPTEC AI may lead to disqualification. The Organiser’s decision will be final.

6. Ranking, Scholarships & Awards

6.1. Ranking: Based on correct answers. Ties resolved by faster completion time.
6.2. Cash Awards:

• Over ₹5 Crore in cash awards for top achievers (details on website).
• Awards disbursed within 60 working days post result verification.
• All awards subject to TDS and applicable taxes under Indian law.

6.3. Scholarships:

• Scholarships up to 100% from 1,000+ partner institutions.
• Award is at partner institution’s discretion and subject to their eligibility criteria.
• BrainBucks acts as a facilitator only, not a guarantor of scholarships.
• Special scholarships available for women, meritorious students, and economically weaker sections.

7. Data Privacy

• By registering, Participants consent to collection and use of their data for the Event.
• Name, photograph, rank, and testimonials may be used for promotions without compensation.

8. Technical Requirements & Disclaimer

• Participants must ensure stable internet, compatible devices (laptop/desktop with webcam & mic).
• The Organiser is not responsible for Participant’s internet or power failures.
• In case of major technical failure on the Organiser’s side, the Event may be rescheduled.

9. Disqualification

The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify Participants for any violation of these T&Cs at any stage of the Event.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These T&Cs shall be governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
